Understanding Stock Trading
• Each market lets you buy/sell shares of an outcome
• YES shares - Pay n chips if the outcome happens
• NO shares - Pay n chips if the outcome doesn't happen
• Price - Cost per share (0-10 chips)
• Shares - Number of shares available at that price
• Lower prices first - Cheapest shares shown at top
How to Trade Shares
1. Choose your side: Click "Place Order" on YES or NO side
2. Set your price: Lower price = better value but less likely to match
3. Set quantity: How many shares you want to buy
4. Confirm: Your chips will be held until shares are bought/sold
Trading Examples
Example 1: Buying YES shares
• You buy 10 YES shares at 6.5 chips each = 65 chips total
• If YES wins: You get 10 × 10 = 100 chips (35 chips profit)
• If NO wins: You lose your 65 chips
Example 2: Buying NO shares
• You buy 20 NO shares at 3.0 chips each = 60 chips total
• If NO wins: You get 20 × 10 = 200 chips (140 chips profit)
• If YES wins: You lose your 60 chips
